Metabolomics can help in the study of different cancers by analysing whether a particular type of tumour is characterised by the development of certain metabolites.
To this aim, Biosfer Teslab collaborates directly with Josep Gumà, director of the Oncology Institute of Southern Catalonia, and together with the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the URV in the analysis of different metabolites found in urine, blood and/or tissues.
