Our Story
Biosfer Teslab is a spin-off company of the Rovira i Virgili University (URV) and the Pere Virgili Health Research Institute (IISPV). It operates in the field of in vitro diagnosis with the aim of providing analytical services to study and monitor metabolism alterations in order to advance knowledge and improve people’s health.
This achievement has reached in the provision of a comprehensive NMR metabolomics profiling, which includes, alongside the renowned lipoprotein profiling (Liposcale® test), glycoprotein profiling, characterization of the aqueous plasma metabolome (LMWM), and lipid families characterization.
Thanks to the company’s pioneering spirit and the analysis of over 30,000 samples in its research endeavors, a remarkable transformation has occurred. The culmination of these efforts has yielded the MetBalanceTest, an entirely novel and innovative product within the public’s reach.
MetBalanceTest translates intricate molecular data from metabolomics into a comprehensive tool that integrates the power of NMR-based blood analysis, artificial intelligence, and data visualization. This combination assesses metabolic status with personalized precision medicine, embracing a holistic approach that factors in key elements influencing metabolic equilibrium and overall well-being.
Functioning as a comprehensive global guide, MetBalanceTest has the capacity to enhance individual health and revolutionize the way of taking care of oneself. Through generating images of metabolic age and health status, it offers a clear comparison to chronological age, thus empowering individuals to discern areas for potential health enhancement.
