This year, the award went to the 35-year-old Catalan entrepreneur Núria Amigó one of the inventors of the patent entitled “Method for the characterization of lipoproteins”. “This award recognizes every year the efforts of Spanish researchers and innovators under 40 who have managed to commercially exploit their inventions,” said the Alberto Elzaburu Foundation. This award this year has more endowment, with 6,000 Euros and a sculpture designed by the architect Ignacio Vicens.
