This is Biosfer Teslab commitment in the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
The Spanish Institute of Health Research Pere Virgili, Fundación Alcorcón University Hospital, SCIENCE&STRATEGY SL, Laboratorios Rubió SA, and Biosfer Teslab together with Treat systems (Denmark), Kinesys Consulting (UK), EuroCrime (Italy) have built a consortium to fight the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. In only 10 days we have succeeded in building a strong consortium and drafting the proposal from scratch presented to the H2020 emergency call, SC1-PHE-CORONAVIRUS-2020-2B. We turned a nearly impossible task into a reality thanks to the guidance of Dr. Marco Straccia (FRESCI by SCIENCE&STRATEGY) helped by a very skilful project manager, Dr. Lydia Cabau.
VISIONING, the project name, aims to help predicting the clinical evolution of COVID-19 patients by using NMR metabolomics combined with artificial intelligence (AI). After our Liposcale test, this metabolomic AI-prognostic tool for COVID-19 represents another big effort of Biosfer Teslab in bringing cost-effective personalized and precision medicine smart health applications into the clinical practice
