El Círcol, founded in 1852, is a recreational cultural society based in Plaça Prim in Reus.
Its current president, Patrícia Terradellas Maré, has decided to rejuvenate the social mass in order to attract new members between thirty and forty years old.
Thinking of the talent that the city possesses, Patricia believes that it would be good for these young people to meet in order to grow through professional values and for this she intends to offer a space in the Círcol to do so.
For this reason, since October, an activity called Beer and Business (b&B) has been taking place at the Círcol. This monthly activity, addressed at young people between 20 and 40 years old, aim to be a new experience that combines youth, professional talent, restless spirits and ambition to grow personally and professionally.
The first session of the year took place on Monday 31 January and the invited speaker was Núria Amigó, co-founder of the company Biosfer Teslab.
There, she had the opportunity to enjoy, as she says, “a relaxed chat with friends”, talking about how to start up and innovate in biotechnology and not die trying.
